This is the kit most of our gardeners start with. You get plain 1/4 inch distribution tubing, tee connectors and a dozen blue emitters that sit on their own stakes, so each plant gets its own little faucet. The two-way splitter is solid brass with a butterfly lever on each outlet, which means the vegetable bed and the flower border can run on separate lines from one standard 3/4 inch spigot.
- Three ways to water. Twist any emitter from closed to a slow drip or a small spray, so thirsty tomatoes and dry-loving herbs share one line without drowning each other.
- A splitter that does not weep. The brass body will not rust and each outlet has its own shut-off lever — close one side while you rebuild a bed.
- Build it in an afternoon. Push the tubing onto the barbs, plant the stakes and open the tap. A short dip of the tube ends in warm water makes tight fittings slide on.
- Sized in two lengths. 50 ft covers a couple of raised beds or a patio row; 100 ft reaches a longer border or a small greenhouse.

How to use it
Screw the brass splitter onto the outdoor faucet and close both levers.
Roll the tubing out along the bed and cut it where each plant needs a branch.
Push a tee into each cut, add a short branch and seat an emitter on its stake by the stem.
Open one lever, then turn each emitter until it drips or sprays the way that plant likes.

Good product, easy-ish assembly
Works very well but I wouldn’t call it “easy” to assemble. The most important thing you can do to make assembly easier is boil some water and dip the hose pieces into it for 30 seconds before connecting them to the joints/emitters. It’s not a quick process if you have any kind of arthritis or joint issue in your hands but it works great once you get it pieced together and installed in your garden. Good value for the price and function.
Easy to install
Works great and really only took me a few minutes to measure and install. I did it slightly different than what product suggested. I just made a straight line out of it. But it does not come with an end cap which is what’s needed if you do it the way I did so bought an end cap to plug up the very end of it.
