We really like this system. It checked all the boxes for us. The price was right, it is easy to install and has been working really well for us in the very hot Arizona sun.....our plants are happy too!!!
Works great and really only took me a few minutes to measure and install. I did it slightly different than what product suggested. I just made a straight line out of it. But it does not come with an end cap which is what’s needed if you do it the way I did so bought an end cap to plug up the very end of it.
A drip line is the quiet worker of a garden. Instead of throwing water across leaves and paths, it lets each plant sip at the root through an emitter you set yourself: shut, a slow drip or a small spray. That is why a 50 ft HIRALIY kit can keep a couple of raised beds or a row of patio containers even, while using far less water than a hose or an oscillating sprinkler.
Pick the kit by the job. The classic quick drip kit is the budget starter with a brass two-way splitter; the timer kits add a programmable valve so watering happens at 6 a.m. whether you are home or not; the solar kit runs pots and balcony rows without a faucet timer; the misting kit covers seed trays and greenhouse benches; and the loose 1/4 inch tubing lets you extend any of them. For trees, the 20 gallon bags hand out water over one to five days.
